Multi-Pack subscribers (3 or more shows) may exchange tickets free of charge; non-subscribers may exchange tickets for a $5.00 per transaction exchange fee. Exchanged tickets must be received by the Ticket Office (by mail or in person) at least one hour prior to the performance. The value of the tickets may be applied to another festival performance on the season. You may fax a photocopy of your torn tickets to (734) 647-1171. Lost or misplaced tickets cannot be exchanged.

Ticket Donations
Unused tickets may be donated to the festival for a tax-deductible contribution up to 15 minutes prior to the performance. Unused tickets that are returned after the performance are not eligible for a tax-deductible contribution. To receive a tax-deductible receipt, please call the festival office at (734) 994-5999.

Lost or Misplaced Tickets
Call the Ticket Office at (734) 764-2538 to have duplicate tickets waiting for you at Will-Call. Duplicate tickets cannot be mailed. In the event of a double seating situation with duplicate tickets, priority will always be given to the holder of the original tickets.

Ticket Resale
The Ann Arbor Summer Festival strongly opposes ticket scalping. The resale of tickets by non-authorized outlets for a price greater than the retail price is a misdemeanor under Michigan law (MCL 750.465(6). Whenever the festival is presenting a show we expect to be particularly popular, we discourage the resale of tickets by setting a limit on the number of tickets individuals can purchase. We encourage interested ticket buyers to contact our Ticket Office directly at (734) 764-2538 to inquire about ticket availability to any festival performance.

Good Neighbor Program

Committed to providing access

The Good Neighbor Ticket Program is a unique outreach initiative that provides human service agencies in the greater Washtenaw County area with complimentary tickets to select Mainstage performances. The program is offered to those whose financial and/or social situation would otherwise prohibit them from attending the performing arts and enjoying the festival experience.

Tickets are distributed solely through non-profit and community-based organizations that coordinate their visit to the Ann Arbor Summer Festival with their clients. Tickets are not granted directly to individuals. To participate, interested organizations must submit an application to be part of the Good Neighbor Ticket Program. Distribution of tickets to select indoor shows is determined by demand, availability, and an organization’s previous requests. Every effort is made to provide each organization with some number of tickets to available performances.
